She cares for all ages and applies her training and experience to a full range of dental services, including one-day crowns made possible through CEREC.

Cosmetic Dentistry

All dentistry should be cosmetic! Most people think of veneers and bleaching when they think of cosmetic dentistry, but we use many techniques to provide you with a smile that's healthy and beautiful. Let's face it, appearance is important to everyone, and your smile is one of the first things people notice. You can trust our dentist, Terri Meinhold, DDS to take good care of it while tailoring our affordable dental approach to meet your individual needs and expectations.

Fillings

We place several types of fillings, which are also known as restorations. Two of the most popular are composite resin and amalgam:
  • Composite resin - Many patients prefer these tooth-colored fillings for esthetic reasons and because they do not contain mercury. A composite resin restoration should last seven to nine years.
  • Amalgam - This is the old tried and true restorative filling. Amalgam is a combination of several metals and does contain mercury, but its use is still taught in dental schools, and it has served patients well for many years. The durable material used in an amalgam restoration should last patients 15 plus years.

Crowns

We offer three types of crowns: all porcelain, porcelain-fused-to-gold crowns and full gold. Each type has advantages, so we work to match the best product to our patients. Some clients are worried about the cost of dental crowns but we will make payments as easy as possible for you. Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.
  • All-porcelain - These can be made in our office, in one visit, with the CEREC technology or can be produced by a laboratory.
  • Porcelain-fused to gold crowns - Laboratories have produced these for many years, and for those patients who already have several porcelain-fused gold crowns, we frequently continue this method.
  • Full gold - A full-gold crown can be useful in posterior regions of the mouth when we are limited in space. The gold crown can be strong but thin, thus enabling us to save as much tooth structure as possible.

Bridges

Bridges replace missing teeth and are cemented in place appearing to be individual teeth. Bridges are usually porcelain-fused to gold but can be all porcelain or gold. Some clients are worried about the cost of dental bridges but we will make payments as easy as possible for you. Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.

Extractions

We do extractions in our office whenever possible, and work with several specialists when needed.

Implants

An up-and-coming aspect of dentistry, implants are a terrific way to replace missing teeth. Implants help the patient retain bone and feel secure in their oral rehabilitation. Our office works with the specialist to place the crown, bridge or removable denture on the implant. Some clients are worried about the cost of dental implants but we will make payments as easy as possible for you. Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.

Periodontal Assistance

We collaborate with periodontal specialists on a daily basis and help many of our patients who face periodontal issues maintain their oral health through routine visits to our hygienists. Some patients may need to be seen more frequently than every six months.
